2019 Tour of the Americas

October 2019 begins with a major tour to Latin America. Joined by violinists Alexandra Soumm and Simone Lamsma, the OSM will travel to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Santiago in Chile, Buenos Aires in Argentinaand the cities in Mexico.

On the program: Brahms and Bartók, as well as Mozart and Mahler!

At the end of this series of seven concerts in Latin America, Kent Nagano and the OSM will stop off at Chicago’s Symphony Center on October 15 with pianist-in-residence Denis Matsuev, and in Toronto on February 19, 2020 with Olivier Latry, OSM organist emeritus, for a program featuring Berlioz, Dusapin and Beethoven.
