A Musical Escape from Warsaw to Bucharest2026-2027
This program celebrates the youthful spirit of two composers: at 19, Shostakovich pays homage to Bach and hints at the irony of his future symphonies; Enescu, at the same age, unfolds a masterful profusion of themes in his Octet. As for Bacewicz, she wrote her Quartet for the students of the Łódź Conservatory.
