The osm.carnival – Théâtre de Verdure du parc La FontaineSummer 2026

In the heart of summer, come meet some curious insects at the Théâtre de Verdure in La Fontaine Park. During a free concert, these unusual little critters will be accompanied by the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal conducted by Rafael Payare. They invite you to discover a work by Quebec composer Maxime Goulet: Le carnaval des insectes (The Insect Carnival). Ants, beetles, bees, and many others, allportrayed by actors, will come to life through specific instruments of the Orchestra. A playful and unique opportunity to discover and explore the fascinating world of a symphony orchestra. With family or friends, share unforgettable moments under the stars in a festive and welcoming atmosphere!

The show will go on, even if it’s raining! The OSM will not cancel a concert due to rain except in exceptional circumstances such as a thunderstorm. In the event of such an occurrence, we invite you to check our Facebook page or our website for updates.

Our concerts in the parks are bring-your-own-chair events! We do not provide seating during these concerts, so whether it be a camping chair, a stool or even just a blanket, if you would like to rest your legs we invite you to bring along whatever you need.

Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted in parks in Brossard. However, the consumption of alcohol is forbidden.

As with any public event held in the city’s parks, pets are not permitted on the premises. We invite you to leave your pets at home. Please refer to By-law on animal control (REG-219, s.10).

Concerts last typically between 75 to 90 minutes, and there is no intermission during concerts.
