The Music Lovers Circle of the OSM is comprised of seasoned professionals from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about classical music.
Through their philanthropic commitment, its members have a positive impact on the development of culture in the metropolis. Their contribution supports, among other things, the democratization of classical music, an important aspect of the OSM’s mission. Their support is reflected in community initiatives such as concerts in parks, free concerts, and affordable events during the Classical Spree, and much more!

With a contribution of $1,000, you become a member of the Music Lovers Circle.
A partial tax receipt for the total eligible amount will be issued.

From the flamboyance of Das klagende Lied, written when he was only twenty, to the dreamlike intimacy of the Des Knaben Wunderhorn lieder, Rafael Payare, the OSM Chorus and legendary baritone Matthias Goerne draw us into a fresco at once grand and deeply personal. A journey through water and imagination, from the murmur of a spring to the shimmer of an enchanted lake. Smetana’s The Moldau opens the way, followed by the Sibelius Violin Concerto, surging like an inner torrent in the hands of Andrew Wan, before Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake Suite closes the voyage in a burst of dance and light. Before the concert, a cocktail reception awaits you in the Antonia-Nantel Foyer.

Two giants of the Russian repertoire in a single breath: Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, carried by the consuming virtuosity of Alexander Gavrylyuk, followed by Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 8, an epic of suffering shot through with a thread of hope. An intense and magnificent evening. Before the concert, an exclusive moment of conversation and connection awaits you in the Antonia-Nantel Foyer, over an elegant cocktail reception.

Let the tango carry you away! In this exuberant concert, the spellbinding world of Astor Piazzolla meets the fire of the Orchestra under the direction of Gemma New, with two masters of the bandoneon, William Sabatier and Rómulo Larrea. From the heartbreaking farewell of Adiós Nonino to the brilliance of María de Buenos Aires, a vibrant and sensuous immersion to close the season with both Circles gathered together. Before the concert, a cocktail reception invites you to mingle with fellow enthusiasts; afterwards, the dance floor and live music take over!
