Accommodations for audiences with reduced mobility
On concert evenings, a dedicated attendant will be posted at the hall entrance to welcome audiences with reduced mobility. If you would like assistance getting to your seat, you can simply ask any attendant at the hall entrance.
We can also provide wheelchairs to help you move about the Maison symphonique. You are welcome to request one from any attendant at the hall entrance.
Mobility assistance
Adapted seating for wheelchair users is available at all our concerts. Some seats at the Maison symphonique are wider or feature extra front leg room.
At all concerts, a member of the Maison symphonique’s accommodations team, specially devoted to assisting audiences with reduced mobility, is on hand to provide the following services:
- Guiding and accompanying you to your seat;
- Storing your mobility aids for the duration of the concert;
- Accompanying you back to exit the hall.
Assistive hearing
The Maison symphonique offers various options to make the musical experience accessible for audiences with hearing impairments. Two tuning systems are available in-hall enabling those who need them to follow the concert.
The cloakroom has a supply of three (3) assistive listening devices for audiences to borrow free of charge in exchange for valid ID. You have the option of using your own headphones with these devices if they have a standard 3.5 mm jack.
If you prefer to use your own radio, portable media player, or hearing aid equipped with headphones, you can tune it to 104.5 FM to enjoy live audio.
The hall also provides access to the ListenWIFI system that operates with a smart phone. Simply download the free app to your phone beforehand and bring your wired headphones (Bluetooth connected headphones may add delay to the audio).
In-hall accommodation staff is available to guide you through connecting to the hall’s WIFI. Do not hesitate to ask for assistance to get the best enjoyment of your musical experience.
Booster seats for children
The coat check has a moderate supply of children’s booster seats that audiences can borrow free of charge in exchange for valid ID.
We do not grant the option of reserving booster seats. They are loaned on a first-come, first-served basis to those who request them in person.
